OpenScan · iPhone

Find the documents that
actually go with your device.

Point OpenScan at a label, barcode, or device. It helps turn the details you can see into a reviewable set of public manuals, maintenance guides, safety notices, parts information, and software supplements.

A clear path from object to document

1. Start with what you have

Scan a label or barcode, take a photo, import one, or type the model, catalog number, or device identifier yourself.

2. Review a document set

OpenScan can look beyond one generic manual. It keeps room for the maintenance, compatibility, safety, and software material a device may also need.

3. Keep only what fits

You review a possible match before saving it. Saved documents stay with that device on your iPhone, and answers cite the document pages used.

Public documents, not access-control workarounds

Automated discovery is limited to direct public HTTPS documents and a narrow set of known manufacturer or regulator support pages. OpenScan does not bypass logins, download gates, paywalls, CAPTCHAs, or other access controls. Read the Content & Document Source Policy for the exact boundary.
